IRG 2: Structure and Dynamics of Polymeric and Bio-molecular Materials at Interfaces

The mission of IRG-2 is to pioneer the fabrication and in situ observation of dynamic interfaces focusing on biomolecular systems such as DNA assemblies and phospholipid membranes. The applications are in the area of microfluidics and bioanalytical devices.

Participants: Boxer, Frank, Fuller, Groves (Seed), Longo (Coordinator), Muller (Seed), Pande, Shaqfeh (Co-coordinator);

Affiliates: Bao, Swope; Full or partial support of 16 graduate students, 4 postdocs.
